Is it my 360 or the game?

Playing Tiger Woods 09 online yesterday and the screen just goes black. Happened again this morning. So I tried offline, thinking it was an XBL problem, and the game would freeze with little green dots all over the place. Nothing looks wrong with the disc. I played another game for about a half hour and everything was fine.

Game broken or is it my 360?

Your box is about to get the RROD or the E74 error. You will either have to send it into M$ or fix it yourself using the xclamp repair.

I have the Best Buy replacement plan. Should I use that or send it to Microsoft?

Yeah, you will have to wait til it actually RROD's but take my word for it that it will RROD before the end of the month or one light with E74.

Sounds like your console is about to RROD. I've fixed 6 consoles over the summer for under $25 each, but if you have a warranty, definitely use that first.

Definitely use the replacement plan. That's why you bought it. There's no need to send the xbox into microsoft and go with out if for weeks when you can just go swap it out for another one at best buy. I had a 360 for about two years and I think I ended up bringing it back to best buy like 5 or 6 times.

I'm not sure if it still works like that though. I think I heard from someone that the replacement plan is only good for one replacement now.

Yes, go to BestBuy and use that warranty. They will just give you a brand new 360 right from their store.

If you go through Microsoft... It will take a week or two before you even get it back.
