List of Before and After Install Sizes
Game Name: Previous Install size - New Install Size = Difference

Fallout 3: 5.9 GB - 5.5 GB = 0.4 GB
GTA IV: 6.8 GB - 6.5 GB = 0.3 GB
Halo 3: 6.3 GB - 5.7 GB = 0.6 GB
Halo Wars: 6.2 GB - 5.7 GB = 0.5 GB
Left 4 Dead: 5.0 GB - 3.7 GB = 1.3 GB
rock band 2: 6.4 - 4.6 = 1.8
Call of Duty 4: 7.1 - 6.9 = 0.2 GB
KOFXII: 3.4GB - 703MB

Here's my installs.

L4D from 5 gigs to 3.7
RB2 from 6.3 to 4.6
Burnout from 3.4 to 2.8
GTA IV from 6.8 to 6.5
NCAA 10 from 6.2 to 5.5

Why would they change? And would I have to reinstall them to get the compressed sizes?

EDIT: Wait, this is probably for 360 only, isn't it?

Yes, this is 360. Halo 3 and Halo Wars didn't give it away?

The change came from them not copying over security files and junk files. Now it's the game, nothing else.

I only looked at titles like GTA and such, then when I looked back I noticed those other titles. I was hoping it was for PS3 also because I keep optimizing my memory by deleting things I don't want to on my 40GB. Hopefully I'll upgrade internally soon.

That's cool that they did that though.
