I believe it changes colors depending on the function. At least that's how the E3 prototype worked, I suppose that functionality could have been removed but I haven't been following the controllers development too closely.

Hey guys anone know how I can change the title to read
TGS shows new PS3 Remote, still unnamed.

I tried but it doesn't seem to want to change the header in the forum area...
