Any way to get rid of PS3 "HOME" Icon ?

I deleted HOME but that icon is still on my dash board. Any way to hide it or delete it?

Yeah, it freezes in the "initializing " screen after installing the patch.

It worked for me when I deleted the previous version (all 3 GB's of it), and my Harbor Studio file from the saved data folder. I reinstalled it and everything has worked fine.

I'm sure Sony will fix it somehow - this 1.3 launch doesn't seem like it was put together too well. But yeah, it's probably a good idea to wait until they get it sorted out.

Not really. I go in there from time to time and check out the game spaces like the Guitar Hero one or play some of the arcade games in the bowling alley. Last time I logged in I checked out the Batcave space that you get for having the new Batman game.

Also last time I played, I was given the little Dig Dug guy as a decoration. I guess I got this because I downloaded the demo for that Classic Arcade game that has Dig Dug in it. It's on my mantle in my space now LOL. Are there any other items like that you might get for downloading a demo?

Any way to get my disc to autostart again?
Since the latest update...and those new PS Store icons have been installed...my machine starts to those and no longer autostarts my disc. I have to move over to it and press X.
No big deal really...but I have my settings set to autostart the disc.
Any ideas would be helpful.

Is the setting not there any more? I don't have mine on autostart, but I did change a setting that starts the PS3 up on the game menu like before instead of the What's New item.

Yes...the autostart setting is still there..it just seems to ignore it for some reason.
Where do you get it to start on the GAME line instead of the What's New?

You can altimus. I just got to the gym but ill post the setting when I get home. I have mine set to start on the game screen and not what's new.

Under System Settings, there is an option called Display [What's New], turn that sucker off and it will start at the Game menu from now on.
