I leave my 360 vertical and today it fell on its side, in the process scratching my hours old copy of NBA LIVE 10. Does anyone know if stores (in this case Best Buy) let me exchange the game and if not, how I can fix the scratches? It is a big circular scratch.

When it's a deep mark like that there's nothing you can do as far as repairing it goes. My 360 has done that to several games so now I install the game as soon as I get it.

Yeah, you can exchange for the same game at BB with the receipt. Just no return for refunds.

You could try getting it resurfaced. I had two games with the deep scratches because my Xbox fell over twice and now they look and work like brand new.
