Yeah I heard , I called sony he had me run in safe mode and delete Nba live and restart it I will know soon if the game finishes .

It should not have let you download the firmware again. If you found a way to unfreeze it, you need to let the world know.

The safe mode thing did not work for my brother either. He had to send his in.

Maybe I never DL the 3:01 intil now ? Well I only play 2 min Qrts and it always froze on 5 min so I will try that now If that works im should be good to go .
? were the 3:0 and 3:01 back to back when were they released.
By the way my ps3 if a 40 gb 2-3 years old not a launch one and I hear they have the most problems really sad what sony did and wont admit

nah its getting worse game by game no sound then its freezes .
? if they put out another psn update can it fix the issues im having ?
Is there no way to delete everything and start it all new like a cpu ?

You should back up all of your game saves to a flash drive or external hard drive if you haven't already... don't be like me and not be able to turn your PS3 on, losing all of your saves.

You got the 80010514 error message? Yeah.. your ps3 is most likely a goner. I went through pretty much the same symtoms about a year ago. Ended up having to mail it into sony. Here's a little more info on the error message. Sorry man..
