Are they nuts with the $70 price tag? I guess option #1 is the best with the 3 year warranty if true.

re: Playstation Plus - Premium PS3 Service

As much as I hate this, if this is to happen, the only way I'll go for it is if they can just take it off my remaining funds in my account. I don't want to have to do it through credit, so I'd rather pay through PSN cards from retail stores.

Either way, I really wish it never came down to this. $70 a year is way too much money.

I still don't mind if they add a premium tier, it gives them added revenue to improve the network, and online play will still be free. However, $70 is goddamn insane. Sony has to realize that many people wouldn't even pay the $50 for Live if online play was free for the 360. Sony should at most only charge what MS does for Gold.

I agree. I'm ok with a premium tier, but not at $70.

Considering I've paid 300.00 in repairs in the last 3 years on my PS3's the Extended Warranty sounds great!! LOL

Not only is the $70 price point insane, but this chart looks like even at $70, we'll have to choose which premium services we'd like, rather than have all of them. The 3 options all have different premium services included/not included. WTF.

Yeah, this is why I think this chart could be a joke. Now Sony is stupid, but I don't think they are this dumb.
