Don't worry about the warranty, they fix it for free.

Ok, well now you have to call Xbox support.

Tell them what happened, they'll ask you to turn the system on and off to make sure it wasn't a one time incident. It probably wasn't, so you'll have to give them the serial # on the back of the box and all that info, you'll get 2 emails from them, 1 with the shipping label. Print that out, get a good box and pack your Xbox in it. Then you send it off.

I'm a master at broken Xbox's now.

Thanks bro,

Will the post office handle all of the boxing up and stuff?

Or am I suppose to use UPS?

They send you a UPS label. And you pack it yourself. But UPS Store will do it up pretty for a couple of bucks...

Well I got my own box. I think the other option is asking MS to ship you one but that means waiting 2-3 days so it's pointless really. All I did was get a regular box from around the house, made sure it was well padded inside and that the Xbox fit well and taped the shipping label to it.

For shipping, you'll probably have to use UPS.

Re: My xbox360, Bad news to good news to bad news

Well, I guess good things come to those who wait. After all of the headaches, I now have two working 360's. The one I got back from MS the other day was a old refurb that they reworked and put a new label on. What's weird is that Fifa was giving me all kinds of framerate issues that I never had with the old console. All the other games looked and played great. Not my favorite game of all. So that had me kinda bummed. Well today the replacement EBay console arrived. Manufacture date 2/2009. Yes, it is a Jasper. It was refurbed for something, but it is running like a champ! Cool, quiet and nary a framerate issue on Fifa. Installing the game on the HDD now. Man, I just can't believe that the last console I got back is the best. Now here's to hoping it holds up. The MS console is going in the box, pending my next RROD.....
