Gamestop XB360 Value?

Anyone have a recent read on the trade values at GS? I have a 360 with 20 GB, w/out HDMI, 2 controllers, 2 power bricks, Rock Band guitar controller.

I also have an older model with no HDMI, actually my 4th one, dam rrod! I want to get a new one w/HDMI and hook it up to my HD monitor, I have my ps3 hooked to it and it is sweet.

as far as the $10.00 comment, I wouldn't put it past gamestop to offer that

Just call them dude, they'll tell you over the phone. And since you're trading towards a PS3, add $30 to that value.

Exactly. I just sold my DSL yesterday for nearly full retail price and I bought the thing at launch back in '06.

If you're looking to get a PS3, you might find someone that'd be willing to swap systems as well. Either way, couldn't hurt to post your 360 on there for a week or so.

This is just my opinion, but if there are no takers, I'd keep the 360 and just start saving money for a PS3. That's what I'm doing and you'll be surprised at how quickly you will get to the $299 mark.

Yeah, I never understand why folks choose the easiest route and lose a bunch of money in the process. It's not even like craigslist is all that difficult or time consuming. You can place an ad on there in like 3 minutes. Then all you need to do is meet someone with the product and pocket the cash. But then that's too much work for most folks. They'd rather just drop it off somewhere and get half the money I guess. To each his own.

The problem with craigslist is all the low ball offers. I tried to sell my 20gb 360 with about 4-5 games. I looked at all the other similar systems and priced it a little lower($190). I got some texts from people offering $100. This was the second time I had tried to sell it on craigslist. I got the same crap last time too, just a bunch low ball offers. Not to mention there was about 10 pages of 360's for sale in my area( about 15-20 added every day).

So I took advantage of GS's deal of getting extra $ towards a new system. All my stuff got me about $280+ from gamestop. More than if I'd sold on craigslist. Without the trade in deal it would not have been worth it. With trade in deal I got about $110 added on + my edge card.
