I agree with this. IMO, if you took away the top 30 games from every console, the PS2 is the only console that would still have at least another 30 great games available to be played.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Re: Your all time favorite console.

SNES, then PS2.

We were pretty poor, but my mom saved up to get me and my brothers the SNES back in the day, and we all played the hell out of that thing....

Years later, in my first console purchase when I finally got a job around 15 years old, I would spend $300 or so on the PS2 bundled with Gran Turismo 3. I also bought NBA Street that day. My PS2 would then remain turned on for several days in a row because I didn't have (and couldn't afford!) a damn memory card for it, lol.

Re: Your all time favorite console.

PS2 easily. I was 16 at the time and worked as a sacker at the local grocery store. I saved up my tips (we used to bring people's groceries to their cars) for like 3 months and then I went out and bought that bad boy. That was like the first time I had ever successfully saved for something. One of my proudest moments

Re: Your all time favorite console.

hmm let me think.
ps2.

I grew up on all the forefathers of consoles, Atari and the like.

They all have something to bring to the discussion.

Good memories to be had from the NES, SNES, and Genesis.

But the ps2 takes it for me. I havent been a huge fan of this generation as its not the same beast anymore what with online, patches and pay per features.

The PS2 was the last link to the old days of gaming for me and i am hanging on for dear life!
