    Is It Worth It?

    I've had my mind on getting a portable console (PSP or DS). I haven't decided if I should even spend the money. Anyone with either of these systems, can you tell me if they are worth the money?

      have a DS and love it....well worth the money.
      I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

      I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

          had a psp 2000, sold it a few months back. Just got the PSP GO in the mail this morning and I love it. The new look is steller.

              Had my DSL for 4 years but just sold it last week. It's a fun system but, for me, there weren't enough games that I was interested in buying (let alone playing) for me to justify keeping it.

              There are a lot of great games for it, though, it all depends on personal taste.

              I have a PSP and enjoy that more b/c I like to watch UMD movies while traveling, as well as listening to music (saves me from having to bring an iPod on planes) and playing games. If you like sports games, the PSP is the way to go. MLB The Show is really good, Madden is pretty good and FIFA is also solid.

                  Buy a DS and buy a Pokemon game. It will own your life.

                      I don't own a DS but I've played one. I couldn't stand the Japanese set up (A & B reversed) and my hands were too big for it. (Just to give you an idea I'm 6'5",can palm a basketball and the original Xbox controller aka 'The Duke' was near perfect for me.)

                      As I've learned the hard way nothing from Sony is ever worth it.

                      So the DS might be worth it,just try one out first to make sure.

                          I bought a psp last June because I was going to do so much traveling during the summer. It worked out great. Hot shots golf is very addicting. Since the summer I haven't had much time for it (I'm a teacher). I'm not traveling near as much this summer so I'm thinking of selling it. You can pm me if your interested.

                              I thought I'd like the psp, but the DS was just better for me. It's got tons of games by now, and you just can't beat stuff like mario kart.
