I've only sold things on ebay occasionally, but I get annoyed when people immediately jump to a paypal complaint as well. I don't know how far into his "30 day warranty" you were, but waiting a day or so for an email reply isn't out of the question. He obviously sells things in volume, and maybe even has a repair business while repairing these for some side money or whatever.

Buyers can open a paypal case up to 45 days after paying for an item. There's no rush really.

smart sellers never refund money immediately. I wait to get the item back first, or if the item is cheap enough, at least require a shipping number from the buyer as proof that it's coming back.

Of course, if the buyer jumps to a paypal claim and wins, there's nothing forcing them to mail the item back anyways.

the guy has been disrespect idiot to me,since the way he has been talking to me through emails I wouldn't even believe that he would even refund the money to me. I told what I thought was fair was to refund me half and then refunded the rest when he got the system back, he getting negatives now because he's selling Elites for prices he don;t lei and just refunding users there money because the bidding ended not to his licking, there something called a reserve price on eBay, but from the way speaks through emails, he's not to bright as I thought he was, I wouldn't buy anything form him again, my system broke down in less then a week.

I wouldn't agree to do that as a seller either. You don't refund one cent until you get the item back, especially for something like an xbox. He sounds like an ***, but on the other hand, you probably got mad and jumped the gun at the paypal claim too quickly.

I don't know the status of my package, as the USPS tracking number indicates it hasn't shipped yet. I haven't emailed him yet, but I only paid $80, and can get my money back up to 45 days after paying. If he flames out on ebay by then, oh well.

I understand, but the way he was sending me emails, I didn't think he wold give me the refund when he got it.

You have to understand when I bought it he sent me a payment through PayPal for goods not the eBay item. So eBay may not be able to back me up.
