Its a much better deal than I thought it would be if the arcade version is coming with wifi, I guess it just depends on how much they're going to sell HDD's for.

They always sold HDD for $100 and higher.

That's the million dollar question. Hopefully, they'll have 20,60,120GB drives available and won't start off with the 250GB for like $150.

the arcade used to come with 256MBs of usable memory... how can a smaller, quieter version with built in Wifi and 4GBs for the SAME price be laughable?

It's a perfect solution for price conscious people who do not DL a lot of content. Especially when you can add 8GB USB sticks for $20 anytime I want. I have the 250GB version and will never approach filling that bad boy up.

good solution for the price especially compared to the old "arcade" unit, which is now just called the "FOUR Gigabyte", btw.

I went ahead and picked this up over the weekend. I really like the matte finish of the system. I've been using one of my external HDD's for storage and will get a 16gb USB soon..............since this isn't my main system, I might be able to get by with 35GB.
