Finally planning on purchasing the PS3. What are the advantages of the 250 GB over the 120 GB? What specifically would be the benefit of have the extra hard-drive space?

No real advantages. You can buy an even bigger hard drive to replace the 120 and it will still be cheaper. You only really need a huge hard drive if you buy lots of games/movies/ whatever else there is for digital download. I have a 60 GB with about 20 games and I still have 18 GB left. I don't really buy PSN stuff.

EDIT: Oh nevermind about buying a larger hard drive for cheaper. I thought they were a complete $100 difference, but it's only $50.

finding them will be the hardest i tried hard to find a 120 but they had a fathers day bundle and i got 250gb and two games.

I have external hard drive connected to my ps3. It 1 tb and I keep all my music,photos and videos there. The only thing that's in my ps3 hard drive is my ps3 gamedata and demos.

they are pretty easy to find now in this last month i seen them at all the stores i went too i think sony is doing a good job of putting them on shelves
