For me, PS3.

Much better exclusives and a bluray player.

However, if you play with friends a lot or want to, get the system they have. You can't really go wrong either way honestly, but there's no way I'd personally ever own JUST a 360.

This. Blu-Ray is a major factor for me.

Re: PS3 or 360

Blu-ray doesn't impress me much. Maybe I need a bigger TV? My PS3 is hooked up to a 37" 1080p set.

If I had to keep just one console its the 360. I play a bit online and xbox live is better and easier to use than PSN.

Re: PS3 or 360

Bluray is nice I admit, it's just no way I could only have a PS3 as my sole gaming machine.

I hear you. I love my 360, but it's criminal with how much they breakdown.
A co-worker of mine is on his 3rd and it just red-ringed. This machine is less than 12 months old. He's finally had it. He's going to get it fixed for free and then sell it. He's just sick and tired of Microsoft's B.S. and how crappy they treat their customers.

If Sony learns their lessen and makes the PS4 easier to program for, the next-gen wars might be more scary for MS. Lots of people are tired of these shenanigans.

The 360 must have crack inside it. It keeps breaking and people keep coming back for more. After 2 RRODs, I switched to the PS3 and never looked back.

Yeah...if you are going with just one system, stability definitely favors PS3. Supposedly the new 360s are much better...we'll see. I've been fortunate with the 360 though. I still have my original system from 2006.

Re: PS3 or 360

I've had them both and PS3 is much better imo.

Blu-Ray,Free Online, and The Best Exclusives on the market!

Heavy Rain,Killzone 2+3,Uncharted1+2,Twisted Metal,Heavenly Sword,God of War 3,Gran Turismo 5,MLB The Show 10,Demon Souls,Siren(Underrated),Metal Gear 4,Infamous 1+2,and I'm sure I'm missing some

I would like another 360 for Gears & Splinter Cell though.
