The RROD was warranty and they extended the warranty for RROD. So a good majority would be a loss for MS in the end. Yet a known YLOD for the fat PS3's was not met with Sony extending the warranty for them?
See the spin?

In any case I'm on my 2nd WII, PS3 and 360.

You can spin your fav system anyway you want...

I for one could care less about the system and care about the games.. but you get my point.
Do we need another "My system is the best" thread?

I play games not systems...

All of my friends have PS3's since all of us got sick of dealing with the 360 hardware. We all started with Xbox 360's and now we all have PS3's..So I see what you mean.

I owned all 3. 360 RROD'd (twice) and PS3 + wii got stolen during a break in. Went back to the original NES and got a stand alone blu ray player.

I'm waiting for the inevitable price drop before jumping back in.

The only games I was interested in were the sports and racing games. Aside from The Show, all were multi platform.

In order:
Wii had a video card go bad and they send me a new Wii and once I got it I sent the broken one back in a pre paid box so no charge at all

I had a 360 get the RROD but they fixed it free. Then it died a year or so later and it wasn't the RROD. Had to pay 100.00 to fix it.

PS3 got the YLOD and it was 150.00 to fix I just bought a new slim and left it at that.

I'll be honest and say I have an emotional attachment to the XBOX. Mainly becasue I was a beta tester for LIVE when it first started and that was cool. However I've been morwe and more thinking about going strictly to PS3. I just have way to many friends I game on LIVE with to totally abandon it...

Oh well....

Re: PS3 closes in on 360's global sales ( Sony Swings to Profit)

Never been that big a fan of online gaming (but am a movie buff) so the PS3 was a perfect fit. Free online gaming if I ever got the itch. XBL was nice but I didn't use it enough to warrant keeping the subscription.

I need to find out how to use my HD-DVD add on on a laptop or PC.
