My contact from GS called me today to inform that the just got a shipment of 250g HD's in today. They will be selling them for $129.99 which means don't by a 4g 360 because it's going to cost you an extra $30 to get a hd.

Interesting because no official word or sites like kotaku are reporting this on the HDD's. Are you sure they are not the old HDD's?

Makes sense honestly. Business sense anyway. They offer you the 250GB option when you buy. If you choose to instead go with the arcade, then you pay to buy the hard drive separately. That's how things work in almost any industry. It's the benefit of buying the slightly better option up front.
