I may be interested in batting, but to be honest if you can't feel the weight of the object like a bat, the simulation just isn't the same. Plus, I would like to be credited for having a good baseball swing as opposed to someone like my roommate (maybe there will be different difficulties or something for this), and I can also put my switch-hitting skills to the test as well.

But pitching and everything that simulates throwing would be a disaster. Your motion would either be limited and bitch-like, or you will throw your arm out or lose the controller. So I really do wonder how they're going to incorporate it into the whole game.

It may be served best in Home Run Derby, a mode which I hope they improve dearly.

I love the move. I'm a PE teacher and I'm going to get sports champions for my kids at school. The movements mimic what people do in real life. Its a blast and it'd be a great teaching tool!

I just looked at the prices for both controllers on Amazon and they amount to $80. Is there something I'm missing?

(however, I recall them costing a whole lot more, like $150 total... I'm not sure where I ever got that number from)

They shouldn't total $150........$50 for the main controller and $30 for the nav.

I know, but for whatever reason I thought I remembered it being so damn expensive, something like $150, that I would never consider buying it. $80 is still too much for me (I would probably settle for $45), but I'm not that interested in the concept anyway, which is why I passed up on the Wii in the first place.

I'm just trying to find out how that link is a deal when the sum of the two products is $80 anyway.

Yeah, someone might have thought the price was higher on this thing which is possible since stupid Sony hasn't really marketed this at all. I don't even think I have seen a single commercial except for videos on the computer.

I've had the camera since I bought Burnout, so yesterday I picked up the Move controller.......waiting on the Nav till it is needed. I will say that I was left very impressed with the demos I played so far. This thing is so responsive, it puts the Wii to shame. I can now see why the hardware has been getting such excellent reviews. The controller is built very solid and my hand didn't get tired holding the darn thing like it has for many......but I also didn't go on a marathon session either.

I do not get why they only have 2 of the games open for Sports Champions demo.........kind of stupid if you ask me. Table Tennis is crazy as to how accurate movements are caring that 1:1 full motion. I tried Tumble and didn't really care for it too much. I was not able to get EyePet working since I'm afraid there isn't much room available, even though there is 6.5 feet between the TV and couch which everything else worked fine.

If you own a PS3 and a Wii, I can see people that are into motion controls dumping the Wii and sticking with Move since it just works much better.

Re: Playstation Move

The only reason I haven't dumped the Wii yet is there are still some great Nintendo exclusives coming. Once Socom and Killzone come out though, that may be when I switch.
