I don't know anything about those particular Belkins, but have never really been a big fan of their routers.

For the Linksys, I would skip over the 1000 and to straight to the 2000 if that's the route you decide to go.

Don't know much about Belkins other then the fact they use to get returned a lot when I worked at Walmart. But over all I would get a N. I have the Linksys E3000, it is a simutaneous dual band router that broadcasts in 5ghz and 2.4ghz at the same time.

5ghz in a way only has a radius of 50 feet, HOWEVER, with it turned on, even if you don't have a 5ghz device, it totally eliminates dead spots on 2.4ghz and makes 2.4ghz goes even faster then it normally would.

This router is pricey though, when I got it in June it was about $180, might be a tad bit cheaper now, might not. However my house is rather big too, about 9 rooms total.

Oh yeah my router speed is 300mbps. Even wireless I can maintain a solid 250mbps with 2 laptops, a PC and both game systems on at the same time.

Yeah that router is $150 now. I dont have that much to spend lol. I work at target and im at work now trying to decide. Im leaning on the E2000 Linksys though.

It just seems like they're always making pretty cheap products.

If you can get a really good sale or rebate deal on something don't hesitate to do that either though, if it's junk or you don't like it you can always return it for something else.

Rawdeal - you may want to check out the Best Buy local to you and see if there are any open box routers. I got mine for nearly half price there (a Linksys) last year. Most of the routers have no issue, they are just returned because people are unable to get them to work because they don't know what they are doing.
