don't listen to pachter, in another interview, he said he couldn't believe how much they sold
Quote:
The combined sales exceeded some analysts' expectations.
"It's ahead of what I thought previously," said Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Securities. "I think that they are a lock to sell 3 to 4 million by Dec. 31, and a lock to hit more than 5 million by fiscal year end" on March 31.

actually it's odd they specifically mentioned latin american numbers in the shipped total. Gives weight to there actually being a supply issue for NA.

This isn't really a surprise. PS3 users are a more "hardcore" base than the Wii's casual crowd, so naturally they will not pick up the move till there are better games for it.

I see a stack of Moves out here at Kmart and Walmart. But then again PS3 stuff usually don't sell well in this town anyway. I see a stack of PS3 slims too. However the new 360 slim is hard to find and the Wii......even harder to find.

I talked to my walmart friends out in northwest Indiana and they told me they have a lot of Moves in stock too, nobody was buying them because of the lack of good games for them.

Which is understandable.

I dont know, every single Kmart within 30 miles of me is sold out and has been since launch. The Best Buy here doesnt have them either. Maybe certain regions got more then others, or maybe certain parts of the country are just buying them at a faster rate, no idea. All I can go off of is what the Sony rep told me when I asked about getting replenishment on the move hardware.

Another Saturday, and we are once again sold out of the Move half way through the day. We can't even come close to meeting the customer demand with these things.
