Sony does allow it, I know Mad Catz and a few others make wireless controllers for the PS3.

Re: Razer Onza - new Xbox 360 controller

I saw this from the main forum and thought there was FINALLY a release date.

I need a new wired controller (screw buying batteries all the time + usable with PC) and in January this was supposed to be in April, then in April it'd be June, then in June it was "Before Halo: Reach" and after Halo: Reach it was October and now it's "Holiday 2010" so Rememberance Day or Xmas.

Thinking of just getting this one instead...

I just did this mod and it actually works. Playing dojo mode in Virtua Fighter where you can see the inputs on screen, I was able to consistently get the right input without any error. Whereas before the mod one fraction in the wrong direction and I'd get the wrong input.

Limited test time so far, but it was noticeably better already.

The mod inserts a plastic washer (made from a Pringles lid) between the d-pad and the contacts so that the d-pad doesn't have to travel as far to hit the contacts. Pretty easy to do too. Hardest part was finding a torx T8 security screw driver to open the controller.

So in your face, toilet face... Microsoft...

That is definitely a nice looking controller. Damn shame about the cord.

I got super hyped about the controller until I saw the cord too. It's just not feasible with my current setup.

I use a wired controller actually just because I hate charging batteries and/or buying the plug-in kit thingy. Might grab one of these, looks slick.

Just get this:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nyko+-+C...rger&cp=1&lp=1

Leave it on there when you're not using it and you'll never have to worry about plug n play or wires again

I ordered one of those from amazon

Man its great. You dont even have to sit the controllers on it just the batteries... takes a few seconds to switch out whenever you do and bam right back on.
