360 Losing luster.....

Over the weeks I have seen so many gamers selling off there 360's, or talking about doing, I'm kinda amazed, this is coming from guts who own both systems, I'm kinda worried, it doesn't look good for MS, also with the lack of MS first party games, is MS not caring anymore or what is it.

Just a change of scenery......Got to add in the fact a lot of guys have a Wii too for their kids and being 98% of games come out on both the PS3 and 360, it don't make sense to have 3 systems in a lot of family households nowadays.

I hear ya, but most guys have both and getting rid of the 360, also I see gus who only own the 360 are selling and going the PS3 route.

Well I'm at my sister in-laws house and her husband has the connect, it ok right one at best, I won't be rushing ti get it, I'm just upset because MS has no first party games coming out accept gears of war 3.

i have sold my ps3 twice since having one.. sold one a few years back, as well as in the past few months.

i dont like the ps3's interface, their online service is so unorganized in many ways compared to the 360.

if the online aspect of the ps3 was the same as the 360, i admit, i would probably have that system over my 360. but it doesnt, so i dont even worry about it.

if the MS gets out of the gaming business, then obviously we wont have a choice but to do to the ps3. until then.. long live the 360 lol.. (unless i find a slim to fit into my entertainment cabinet etc cheap lol. then i would have both for the 3rd time.)

I don't know. I know I'm happy having both. 360 for Kinect and NBA 2k11, and the PS3 just because I know I'll rebuy one if I sell it. I haven't turned my PS3 on in around 3 months. So I'm the opposite. Nothing really makes me want to turn it on. I have a decicated Bluray player now, so that's out of the question too.

360 is gonna stay, if nothing else so the wife & I can play Kinect together.

Pretty much sums it up..... a lot of people keeping the PS3 because that is their blu ray player as well.

I bought a 360 a month or two after release then I switched to PS3 almost exclusivly in 2008. The only time I would play my 360 was for games like Halo and Gears of War. This year a couple of my friends from work wanted to play an NCAA 11 Online Dynasty so, obviously I got NCAA 11 for the 360. Now, I honestly don't know why I ever made the switch. The 360 is sooo much better for sports games, IMO. I can't believe it took me that long to figure it out.

With that said, theres no way I'd ever get rid of my PS3 either. Main reason being exclusive titles like The Show, Uncharted and Little Big Planet as well as reliability. I'm still using my original Fat PS3 whereas I'm on my 4th 360.

Kind of funny........I have about 10 friends and relatives that bought a PS3 just for MLB The Show......LOL

That is the only game they own for that system. Well now that GT5 is out, they are getting that too.

I played the Show for around a month this year, and if I'm not mistaken, that's the last time I've played it. As sad as that is. I just don't have the desire to play mine. I played with the Move at Best Buy with the wife, and let her make the decision. She didn't like it at all, but loved the Kinect.

I have both and like the other guy said, I have the PS3 for one title really, and that's The Show. That's really it. I mean, I rent Uncharted whenever a new one comes along and will grab Little Big Planet 2 when it comes out for my kids - but other than that - I keep my PS3 around cuz it is a great BluRay player .

I purchase all of my other games for the 360 since I have had it longer, live interface is cleaner IMO and all of my friends have it as well - so we can all play online together.

Meh, I still love my 360. It just all depends on what games are out at the time and what interests you.

I don't think the 360 has been losing it's appeal either now that Kinect is out and it sounds like it's been pretty successful so far. I'm not sure how long that's going to last though with the lack of good games.

As for the PS3, I think this Christmas and next year it's really going to catch up to the 360. Hell it might even pass it. 2011 has a ton of PS3 exclusive games on the way with Killzone 3, Infamous 2, The Show '11 and a bunch of other ones I'm forgetting right now.

I'd personally love to get a PS3 so I could play all those exclusive games I'm missing out on, but my 360 is fine for me. As long as I get my sports games and GTA's, I'm happy lol.

That's just the thing, does MS care about exclusives anymore, I'm sure they can come back with some great games, I'm just waiting to here if they have any in store.
