Forza isn't a Kinect game. It just has enhanced Kinect features like head tracking.

See I'm different, if they add stuff that has to do with kinect more power to them. It's when they say kinect exclusive I hate.

Sent from me, duh.

Yeah I don't own a kinect, and I'm the type of person who could care less about motion technology. I want a controller in my hand to play video games.

Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle dropping to $299.99 ahead of E3?

Quote:
The image above is not a mockup. What you're looking at is a screen grab from the Video Game section of Target's online storefront proudly touting "free shipping" on a $299.99 Xbox 360 250GB console with Kinect bundle. Unfortunately, your pulse-quickened click will be met with the existing $399.99 price tag at checkout. So what's going on here? Are retailers gearing up for price drops on the 250GB Kinect bundle ahead of E3 or did Target's arts and charts department just make a mistake? E3 Expo kicks off June 7th, so it won't be long until we found out either way.

I think they're going to phase out the standalone 360's entirely, going with kinect bundles, while keeping prices at $199/$299.

Kinect doesn't cost $100 to make, but dropping the bundle $100 is a great value. The 360 keeps selling great all year, and every sale pushes kinect into homes.

Like I mentioned weeks ago, I think both PS3 and 360 will see $50-$100 price drops. The last few months retailers were throwing in $25, $50, $60 and now up to $100 in Gift Cards when you bought any of these consoles. At this point, both the PS3 and 360 should be around the $199 mark. Both have been around for 5 and 6 years. Granted they did get redesigns, but still.
