Why would Microsoft do that?

Since software giant plans to launch Xbox 720 (not the real name) in few years, Xbox 360 game sales on PC will not only give company additional revenue but will also extend current generation hardware lifespan.

If that happens, people going to mod the hell out of Madden and NCAA on the PC.

Mhmm, the possibilities.

I don't believe this, but won't be surprised if true. Would be pretty cool but I imagine my PC wouldn't be able to run what games would be supported, unless it will run everything that is already out, plus what is coming out.

Yeah, my biggest question comes with how they'll handle required PC specs.

This doesn't seem out of the question, as their software is all coded under the same umbrella. This certainly seems enticing, but I don't know if I would pay extra for it myself, especially since I don't already have a 360.

By the way, this would be a good chance for them to call this Windows 8: The Ocho.

This would be cool, except that it would require me to own a 360, and more importantly a Windows PC, which isn't happening.
