Either way i dont want the next gen ruined with more expensive games, more bugs and glitches, multiple SKUs where half of them dont work and tons of exclusives and company monopolies,....ugh

Yep. The 360 is the last console that I will buy on day one. There's so much more value in waiting, that I rarely even buy games on day one, anymore. NBA2K and Madden are the only exceptions.

Im ready. A new console utilizing DX11 and all the new hardware would sick. I think its about the right time. Start the buzz for a year and then let her go.

On a side note, it has to be nerve racking for Sony, Nin, and MS. Massive loses if someone takes a huge lead with the next Gen.

I say I'll be content with my 360 but sometimes you see things that make you anxious to get the new console.

Don't mind if they announce it next year, but I won't touch one til holiday 2013 or 6 months after release, whichever comes last

By the time 2013 rolls around the age of the console will really show. You can already see it now with how good some PC games look compared to their console counterparts. Stuff like the Witcher and Battlefield have graphics on the PC that blow away 360/PS3.
