Cant Connect with new internet?

Switched from ATT to Comcast, and CC provided us with a router, hooked it up, and I cant connect to the playstation network. I can get a successful connection and IP address but it always says playstation network has timed out. Any idea on how to fix it?

Do other devices connect without issue to the internet through the same router? If not, call Comcast and have them work with you to fix it.

You may need to forward some ports in your firewall.

Figured it out, my router's firewall had my ps3 under the denied list, just clicked approved and it works.
