If you watch 3 full games each weekend over 17 weekends, it turns out to be a little over 6.50 / game. So essentially, you're paying $20 to watch a reasonable amount of football each and every weekend. So is it worth $20 every weekend?

For me, just the ability to watch every Cowboy game (since I am displaced) makes it worth it. If I catch even 1 more game that isn't televised out here that is interesting, than it is just gravy to me.

Yeah, exactly. I am a Lions fan, and my GF is a Browns fan. Both teams look somewhat intriguing (at least shouldn't suck hardcore), so it'll be fun for us to be able to watch both teams that we otherwise don't get on a national feed.

Anyone have an idea on when this is coming? I've check the website and nothing is mentioned about the ps3 or anything. I would assume Sony and the NFL would get this out before the start of the regular season.

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3

It would have to be this next Tuesday, wouldn't you think? It should come right before the first Sunday of the regular season, and that's the day that Sony updates the PlayStation Store.

If not, then not only would I be completely bamboozled, but the $50 for the application would be completely unjustifiable for any less than 17 weeks of the season.

Good call Blz! I would think Sony and the NFL would have their acts together and pick this up.

The only thing that I'm a little off by is the one lump sum of that much. I haven't seen anything about being able to pay monthly.

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3

I haven't read the whole thread to see if anyone has mentioned this or not, but anyone who pays full price for Sunday Ticket is an idiot. I've had Sunday Ticket for years, and always get around 20-30% of the price knocked off by telling them I don't want to renew it this year because it costs too much. As soon as you say that, they'll offer a significant discount.

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3

are the games archived at all? I cant be home every Sunday as someone in law enforcement, so this really would be great as a Bears fan in NY, but not if it means i have to only watch them live.
