are patches killing our experience?

Seems like some of the recent patches, NCAA, MLB The Show for instance, fixed some of the game problems but messed up other areas of the game.

Seems like maybe they should take a bit more time testing the patch and not just rush them out.

It has gotten to the point that I NEVER download a patch when it first becomes available. I've learned to wait and watch for the patch impressions which has paid off in recent days and months.

They have to do a lot of testing to make sure nothing can be manipulated to cause things to be hacked or basically for unintended consequences which can cause big backlash.

It's probably longer than it should be but it's difficult to completely fault them, they are just making sure things check out.

I think what is killing the experience is overindulging in internet forums on gaming.

Too much negative energy is being reinforced by people going on and on over how "horrible" a game is. It gets to the point to where motivation to play the game is shot because one forum topic about glitches etc. has destroyed all possible assumptions that the game is playable.

If you continuously read negative remarks on one given thing you will eventually not like it and not even know why.
