ps4 or xbox 720....is there q consensus yet?

I know.its early...and we are still.waiting on the 720 release and specs. That being said....any consensus on what may be the better console going forward? I was with PlayStation up to.the ps3. Ibwent Xbox 360 instead at that point. I'm also older and mainly just get madden...NBA 2k...NHL...tiger woods...all sports games. Not sure whether to stick with Microsoft or go bqck to Sony. Thoughts?

Initially, PS4 The Show personally. Added to that, Vita connectivity features.

Personally I don't feel there's a "better" console each one does things in its on way.

I preferred the 360 to the PS3 this gen due to it having better hardware.
But for next-gen, it seems both are virtually equal.
However, if the 720 isn't backwards compatible like the PS4 is, then it'll be an easy choice for me.

There won't be a consensus unless one of the companies screws up royally. Each console will have its pros and cons, fans and haters.

Plus, we really don't know much about the next XBox console, so it's far too early for any serious comparisons.

Where did you hear PS4 was backwards compatible? Are talking about the game streaming?
