Well, the Atari 2600 was the first system I played, though I didn't own it (my cousins owned it and I'd play it when I was visiting them).

The first system I ever owned though was the Gameboy, and the first game was Tetris.

Edit: I had several of the electronic games like what jyoung posted even before Gameboy, but I don't know that I'd consider those systems.

Atari 2600 was my first system. And I have no idea what resolution and fps the games were! LOL

After the early Pong game, we never got another till the Odyssey2.
