Anyone Going Digital?

Hope Nintendo figures out how to join the modern world of digital content management, because the kids playing on my profile across 3 devices sucks.

Does anyone know if there are any issues if you had a physical disc copy of a game but then download the digital version of the game later (PS4)?

Sometimes its easier to just switch games instead of having to pop in and out a disc, especially when I am away from home (remote play). Didnt know if it caused any issues if you had both the physical and the digital version.

On PS4, at least as of about a year ago last I checked, it is a separate install. On Xbox if you install from a disk and later buy a digital license, the same install will work. On the PS4 you have to download the entire digital game from the store even if previously installed from the disk. However the save data should work the same.

That may have changed i had the 10hr Madden trial on the ps4 & bought the disc, didnt have to reinstall
