I'm getting a PS3 for the first time. Tips?

It was either 129 or 139 in store, but for BC consoles that was fair, and I got a warranty instead of getting it from a stranger on eBay or Craigslist.

I am looking also for PS3 BC but my GS close to my areas (2 of them) don't have them.

Hi all -

I didn't want to start a new thread for my query, so figure I would ask my question here...Hope the OP doesn't mind.

I'm thinking about purchasing the 12GB PS3 from Walmart. It is now $169....I'm only purchasing the console to get my college football fix! Since it now seems that college football won't be coming to next gen anytime soon, I figure a ps3 with NCAA Football 14 (along with All Pro Football 2K8) is the best way to go.

My question is....I remember back in the days of ps2 that b/c of the hard drive size (compared to the XBOX), replays would not work for NFL 2K games...I'm wondering, with the size of the ps3 hard drive being 12GB, would I be able to get halftime highlights for All Pro Football 2K8 (and NCAA Football 14)?

Sorry if this is a noob question...Thanks for any info y'all can provide!
