Listening to the Gamespot recap of Nintendo's event, they brought up a good point in that the amiibo figures could be used for games like Mario Kart. If you could do something where they sold a Pikachu figure and you could scan that into Mario Kart and play as him or use him to race against other amiibo characters, that would be cool. I could also see it working for things like Fire Emblem and other RPG type games.

I think they are genius for having those figures be compatible over many of their titles rather than just one. That has straight cash homie written all over it for years and years to come.
