Budget headset help

I was think of getting a headset for gaming. Nothing expensive Actually cheap. I know you get what you pay for, but don't have $$$ to spend on it. I was thinking either PS Silver Headset or MS Xbox head set. I have both systems and want to use it for both.

Re: Budget headset help

Why not just use the earbuds I'm sure you already have then? They have decent enough sound, and a mic. They will work just fine.

The point of buying a headset is to get superior sound. If you can't spend the money, just use what you have.

Well said, I will say however there are a few deals to be had. I would browse craigslist and EBay for older model 5.1 or 7.1 headsets. Otherwise use what you have and save up.

OK If I can't find a used set. I'll just save for a pair of PS Golds

Re: Budget headset help

I gotta say... I miss the days of being able to pair my Bluetooth headsets right to the system like the ps3.

I have the golds myself, just wish the X1 fully supported it. Why they can't enable Bluetooth usb dongles is beyond me. You can use them on the pc that way.

the golds are not superior sound....They are average headphones

If you want to get the most or close to it there is nothing like the

Astro a50
astro a40tr new version
Elite 800x and Elite 800
SteelSeries Wireles H (Works for both)

These are the best

Re: Budget headset help

I have old razor carcharias pc headset with 3.5 mm adaptor...stereo, but sounds good...

I rarely use my px5 ones, kinda heavy and get some interference...May try them upstairs though

I assume you decided to completely ignore the OP with your recommendations.
