20 pre-loaded games including FF7. They only announced five games. I wonder if any sports games will be on this. I'd love to see NFL Gameday or A Madden.

I need to preorder too. I imagine it will be really hard to get before Christmas.

But if there are no sports games, then I may pass.

I wonder if you will be able to add games like the NES and SNES classics. I'm guessing no.

It'll do a preauthorization, but then you won't be charged until it ships...

If you want it I’d preorder now before the world wakes up. With a Dec 3rd release you know you’ll only get one shot before Christmas.
Probably not a runaway hot item like those NES mini but I’m sure hard to find around the holidays.

I know it won't happen with the legal stuff, but I'd love to see NCAA Football 2001 on here.

The original playstation was such an epic system for RPG's, I'm not surprised at all to see FF7 and Wild Star on here. I'm hoping we get a few other classics (Xenogears, Suikoden, Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean, Grandia, etc...)

Non RPG's that I think would make a lot of sense for this system.

Twisted Metal 2
Crash Bandicoot
Oddworld
Metal Gear Solid
Spyro the Dragon

Games I'd love to see, but probably too obscure/doesn't fit.

Grand Theft Auto
Duke Nukem

Playstation Classic Announced

I preordered this morning, would love to see Syphon Filter 2, Silent Hill and Resident evil 2 and 3.

I wasn't a big fan of PS1 but I'll probably get this to have a complete set. Definitely getting the N64 mini.
Would LOVE a dreamcast classic. (my 2nd fav. console behind the NES)

The list is a little shocking to me. Some really solid titles, several of which make a lot of sense to me. I'm also happy to see rpgs well represented on a console that was littered with them. I do find myself being rather disappointed though.

It seems a bit unnecessary to have 2 fighting games. I fully expected Tekken, but Battle Arena seems like an odd choice to add in.
Also seems odd to have 3 puzzle type games. I'm actually not surprised to see IQ on here, but super puzzle fighter and Mr driller??? Destruction derby seemed unnecessary when you have twisted metal already.

Very surprised that crash bandicoot isn't on here somewhere. I really would have thought we would see a Tomb Raider and Tony Hawk game as well.

Yeah that’s a terrible list, IMO. Unless it can be hacked to add more games, I’ve got no interest in this.

Cancelled my preorder. Loved MGS and Syphon Filter, was hoping for Gran Turismo and Resident Evil 2 or 3 plus Silent Hill. I have never enjoyed the first Resident Evil. Was also expecting Tomb Raider 2 as well.
