How many of you have put $5 down on a preorder and forgotten about it?

I was just wondering how much money Gamestop and others are making on customers who plunk down $5 to preorder a title and then forget about it and just lose that $5.

So I ask all of you, who here has ever preordered a game for $5 down (or whatever amount) and then forgotten about it when the game came out?

When I preorder I always go ahead and pay the full amount straight away. But I only preorder the Show. I also used to always preorder EA's NCAA football but obviously thats shot now

I did once a few years back. Can’t remember what game. Myself have always wondered how much money GS have made on this over the years.

never. i only pre-order like a month before the game comes out at earliest and its usually later than that. plus i pre-order like 2-4 games a year so there is nothing to forget.

oh and make that 1 game a year from gamestop if that. i only go to them in rare cases.

I generally do pay off a game entirely but there have been a couple times I've dropped $5 and forgotten all about it..

So I know Gamestop has probably made $10 or so on me in my life..which may not seem like much but if your add it up with lots of customers it is an obscene amount of free money
