I pulled Dylan Crews and Tyler Glasnow. I never get the high diamonds. I'm always just hoping for a top diamond to just immediately sell so I can improve my entire team, but that hasn't happened yet in years of playing.

Hey all,
I started a rebuild online dynasty league at launch, and things have gone well for the most part. Until now that is. We have a rule that lets people take HC offers to accept new jobs up to 1 star above their current prestige. Now at teh end of year 4 Alabama dropped to 4.5 stars, HC got fired and someone took the job. Now we have people having to contend with a top 2 program in their rebuilds and some are on 2-2.5 stars.
So my question is if you run these types of leagues, what do you do when someone makes it to the big time? Just keep going? Or make it so the small guys can catch up more easily?
We started off as lower tier teams with no restrictions on moving up besides you have to wait two seasons. Nothing you really can do honestly besides ban certain teams outright.
Re: Looking for advice from experienced Online Dynasty Runners
We started with 1 star schools.
Once we hit 5 stars you have two seasons (the first is the first season your a 5star) with that team. After 2 seasons as a 5 star school, you have to take another school.
This encourages people to take a lower star school in order to keep their team longer.
Re: Looking for advice from experienced Online Dynasty Runners
We made roughly 15 "blue blood" schools off limits for the entirety of our online dynasty. Think like Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc. Teams like that. They already have so much built in recruiting advantages with their pitch grades that it didn't really make sense for us to have them as acceptable HC offers, even if their prestige dropped low enough
