DD - Fast Play Only?

Been playing DD all day...and noticed even when you play it offline against the cpu or extra innings...you are forced to play all games in "fast play" presentation?

This. Blows. Anyone know of a way to change it or are we screwed?

IDK about anyone else...but the cut-scenes and broadcast-like presentation is one of the best parts about the game.

Hope this can be patched in to be able to chose what presentation you want to use...otherwise its kind of an upsetting omission this year.

Maybe so, but i play DD offline only. I like to play the cpu and extra innings match-ups.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, and this will absolutely be a 'mode-killer' for me. In the past couple of years, I have probably played DD more than any other mode, but now being forced to play without a DH and always in 'Fast Play' presentation mode is really making me considering whether I want to commit any time to the mode this year.

I don't understand why they would force this weird brand of baseball on you. I don't want to only play Fast Play National League baseball. It's silly decisions to lock the user into certain play styles like this that drive me up a freaking wall . IT NEVER MAKES SENSE TO LIMIT OPTIONS, especially when you've shown in the past the willingness to give the user options.

I was wondering where all the presentation went! I thought I was going crazy and kept looking for it in the presentation options but nothing was there.

I can't see where I'm hitting the ball when it goes foul, no home run celebrations, no replays, no nothing.

I understand they want to limit it in online games to speed things up but I don't get why it's forced on offline games as well.

What's the excuse why it's omitted from offline games though?

I'm guessing they just forgot about it.

I hope they just 'forgot about it' rather than this being an actual game design decision, because for me, I don't think I can play it. If I'm going to be spending an hour playing a baseball game, I want to enjoy the full ambiance, and it doesn't look like we'll be getting that in DD.
