Diamond Dynasty - What's your lineup?

I have been spending some time flipping some cards and was able to get Miggy and Trout. New lineup, I tried to go for a mix of speed, contact, power and defence:

LF Starling Marte
2B DD player (99 rated)
SS Troy Tulowitzki
1B Miguel Cabrera
CF Mike Trout
3B Adrian Beltre
C Jonathan Lucroy
RF Carlos Gomez

Nolan Ryan
Max Scherzer
Jose Fernandez
Yu Darvish
Matt Latos

CP Kenley Jansen

I think I'm almost done tinkering with my lineup.

Once in 20 games! ouch! Your luck might turn and maybe he'll pitch 5 games in a row.

The problem for me re: Beltre is I pulled Miggy in my loyalty packs. So Beltre would be completely useless (he won't even make my bench).
Andrus is a great player but like you said, there are better options.
As for Darvish, I destroyed him online, I dont' know what it is, I've always hit well against him (i'm thinking of MLB14).

So based on that answer, I will give up on Ryan. Shame, because he's one hell of a pitcher. Buying him off the market is out of the question too, based on his outrageous price.

My lineup is pretty much garbage, havent had much pack luck or reward luck. Mostly bronze, with a couple silver and a gold

I disagree, it's well balanced. Speedy on top, power and clutch in the middle and decent pitching and great defense.
You don't need an OP lineup to be competitve. And you will keep improving based on the players you get. Not worried for you.

Oh I see you've got McGriff playing first and Miggy playing third. Yeah, I can see your problem. Nolan might be good but for you it's probably not worth it. You could get someone like Kershaw for much cheaper who is proabaly just as good.

^ Thanks good tip. I have Lester and pulled David Price from a pitcher pack last night. Kershaw would be a 3rd southpaw lol, that's too much for me.
I got killed with Lester last night, gave up 4 runs in the very 1st inning.

I will save up on stubs and buy someone like Jose Fernandez

Have you used price yet I was going buy him but wanted a review first if possible

I have not sir, game made me play T.walker (awesome pitcher btw, even at 82) and Lester. Lester was shaky but recovered

I can't wait to pitch with Price.

I'll keep you posted, going to play some games this evening.
