Given a loss when I won

I walked a guy off the other day. This was the result. Now, my rating did not increase and it said I got the loss but it looks like in my actual Universal Profile record it got it right and I got the win.

At this point, I think I'm just going to stop playing games in this mode until the Extra Innings and Head to Head issues are fixed, and just concentrate on trading cards and building my team.

I'd much rather play some actual games, but they just don't seem to work very reliably right now.

How (or why) are you playing Longoria at SS and Trumbo at 2B? I had thought when the devs streamed DD originally, they had meant to lock guys into positions that they actually do play and not just let people play anywhere.

Trumbo has a good bat, but he's too slow to play in the outfield, plus I already have McGriff at 1B (Trumbo's secondary position). And I already have Beltre at 3B (Longoria's natural position), but Longoria's bat is also too good for me to leave out of the lineup.

Good hitting ratings are much more important to have in The Show than good fielding ratings, which you can see some evidence of in that video, where Trumbo was still able to make the lunging stop and spinning throw at second base, despite having only 56 fielding, 55 reaction, 59 arm accuracy, and 49 speed ratings.

I've had the opposite experience. When I try playing guys out of position, it resulted in errors. For instance I tried to play Josh Harrison at 1st and he kept making errors even though he has decent fielding stats.

I replaced him with Votto and no errors since then.

Can you lose ratings points in this mode or can you only gain points by winning?

It seems like you can't.
