Jack McDowell had a solid first game for me. I like his curve ball and splitter, but his fastballs are really weak and wild. Of the 100 pitches I threw, probably 15 were fastballs.

I'm a big Oriole fan so I unlocked the hoover, the man, Brooks Robinson. He is only an 88 overall. He's been nothing but outstanding at 3b and SS. I keep him at 3rd if my opponent is bunting a lot....Brooks eats those dribblers up. I move him to SS and put Aramis Ramirez at 3b for his power in the line up. His hitting is just so so. He wasn't a dynamic hitter per say, but I feel like he was better at the plate than what I've experienced with him in the show. Not sure I'd recommend unlocking him unless you are dead set on him. Great defense. Ok offensively. Now.....just a side note.....Starling Marte. Get him. Use him. He leads my team in HRs (which is a bit weird). I'm expecting Trout to surpass him soon (pulled him after a DD game) And obviously Marte's the flash. Snag him if you don't have him.
