Question about Card Collections

So I'm currently working towards completing the Giants collection for the Will Clark card:

The website lists 39 Giants different players cards, excluding Clark.
I own 36, all except Bumgarner, Posey and Pence. So that's 39.
The collection bar at the top reads 35 of 37.

I am confuse. Does one of the cards I own not count toward the collection? If I'm missing three cards, how come I'm at 35/37? Maybe Posey doesn't count because he's Diamond? I have no earthly idea.

EDIT: Just checked the Orioles collection, it says I have 4/40 even though I have six different player cards. Weird.

This season much has changed when it comes to Collections, I quickly wanted to put all the information i have found in one spot for people who are unfamiliar with how Collections work this Season...Anyone with information that i have not put in here thus far please fell free to drop a message and ill keep this updated...

The Basics:
- Any card listed before the Legend will not be required to complete a collection...If you look at the braves team collection, only the cards to the right and under Craig Kimbrel are required to complete the Collection (he is not needed)
- Legend Cards give you a +5% bonus earnings (Earn XP, Stubbs, Items Faster)

• Some users have said the more legends you have in your lineup the more cards you receive following your game as a bonus

What happens after you have completed a collection:
- You can no longer sell any of the cards in the collection once you claim your legend reward
- You can still though feed the cards from your completed collection to your DD created player
- You can NOT SELL the Legend Reward from the collection you have completed

• So only Legends pulled in packs can be sold on the market

i have completed the Phillies collection and it says i can redeem my card. How do I do this? I can't seem to find how to get it. Please help.

Look at Diamond Dynasty Video Walkthrough on this site's homepage. He explains how to do it toward the end of the video ... if a remember correctly.

Also, I found this in another thread:

Just to clear some things up for others here is what all happens.

In order to redeem your Legend, you need to go to the collection and hit the options button.

It will then ask if you are willing to forfeit the option of selling your cards in order to receive the legend.

After you hit accept, you will then receive your card.

All common, bronze, silver, and gold cards that were in the collection are now account locked and can no longer be sold. Diamond tier players are still auctionable.

The biggest surprise is that all legend cards acquired through collections are account locked. They CAN NOT be sold. This is a bit unfortunate but I understand why they've done it this way.

I know where to go. It shows I have 40 of 40 cards, and under Scmidt it says Claim Legend Player. I hit options and it only gives me 2 options: view in marketplace or cancel. It wont let me scroll over to the legend card displayed in the right column to try and select it. I have hit every button to try and move columns or highlight the cards to redeem them. Is anyone else having this problem? Or do I redeem the card on a different screen

I recently competed the stadiums collection and it says "collected" in the upper right hand corner. However I never had to hit options or redeem or anything like that. When I hit options nothing happens and I can still post my stadiums to the marketplace. Does anyone know if I am getting the benefits of having completed the collection? Are stadium cards not account locked? Thanks in advance

It's just a collection bonus, don't think there is an actual reward card.

they aren't locked at all, you can sell them and continue to get the bonus.

If you go on the collection page and go under help it says by collecting at least 25 unique mlb players out welle unlock the legend...
I have 25 of 38 for the DBacks and I can press the options button to redeem Steve Finley...
Am I doing something wrong? What exactly does unique mean here? Also did it matter if some of the players are in my squad?

Some teams have more cards you need to collect than others. I think the Red Sox is only 25 players, but if the DBacks collection in 38, you need to get all of those players collected. I do not think it matters if they are in your squad to redeem the legend since you keep the cards you use to redeem the legend anyways.
