Is it just me or is Jose altuve over priced was trying to do the bagwell collection but jose is in my way.

There's a reason why he's so expensive though, everyone knows you need him to get Bagwell, who is one of the best hitters in the game and Altuve himself is one of the best 2nd baseman in the game.

On the bright side, if you're going to complete the collection, at least you'll have your 2nd basemen set.

And three of them are on the Red Sox... It's frustrating. I want to finish the collection, but the cost to get the three most valuable guys last I checked was between 40-50k stubs total.

I'm debating whether or not to make the long grind to save up for those guys (at a rate of about 160ish per game, it would take 250-300 games -or nearly two full seasons!- to save up enough) or just buy the packs and hope luck is on my side.

This assumes prices don't normalize, which they should, because I mean why wouldn't they?

It would seem as more and more of these guys flood the market, prices will drop. Of course when you complete a collection none of the guys from the collection are sellable after that, so that is keeping players off the market.

I've gotten lucky and sold some 60 overall rated relivers and players for over 1k stubs just because someone was desperate to complete a collection. I was working on the D'Backs collection and just needed Archie Bradley and he was going for 5k when I started, eventually he got all the way down to 250 when I finally purchased him.

Ive played 59 games with Altuve and I can 100% say that he is the best player in the entire game. To put this is perspective I also have Trout, McCutchen, Tulo, Bagwell, and Brett. These guys are all fine players in there own right. But they are no comparison to Altuve. Altuve has the best batting average, most home runs, most RBI's, SB, and runs. Altuve is worth every single penny no matter what his price is.

Did the Bagwell collection and got Altuve for 15k lol. Huge steal. Now all I need is Ortiz and Hanley for the Red Sox. Idk why Hanley has to cost so dang on much
