People do this? I haven't run into it personally. If I lose I am wanting to quit quick, get my cards, and try for the next W.

Not at all. I've had many games go over 9 innings where i didnt make pitching changes or bring in pinch hitters out of fear of running out of time. The extra minute doesnt hamper you if you dont want to use them and and it's great for extra innings or people who like to analyze matchups.

And it's awful because the losers who pause and let the whole time run out now have a extra minute to waste

Did they fix the animation where the runners would run as if you fouled the ball backwards on a swing and a miss?

That one actually bothers me. lol

I will swing through a pitch and my baserunners will jog and then stop running and head back to the base as if it was a foul ball

One minute for something that rarely happens where you get the win anyway is a trade off most will take than having to forfeit a game in extra innings because time ran out.

It's not rarely I don't know if you play online alot but once you get to a high level it gets bad they should've just said a extra minute offline or after 9 innings
