Gamboa isn't new. I've been using him for over a month. I've faced him too and I can hammer him.

He's ok, but not just anyone will succeed with him vs a good player.

I heard that mlb might be taking him out of the roster in the next update. How true that is idk but I had like 5 of him that I had from packs and I bought anouther 5 for around 150-250 and resold half today for 500-650 so I'm fine with that turn around. May sell the other half tomorrow if I find out that's true about the update. I'll keep 1 bc I only need chris Davis to finish the Orioles (plus like 3-5 low price guys. I won't need the legend reward so it would purely be for the 5% bonus.

What's confusing to me is has he appeared in an MLB game yet? I thought they could not add in a player if he had no played in at least one MLB game.

Gamboa aint really cheating, but it is mad cheesy to use him. Especially when it is rare to see a person that uses him. People that choose to use him gain a significant advantage since you rarely see pitches that slow. Niekro is much easier to hit IMO due to his KB being faster than Gamboa's. I'm sure if I played a few games against him I'd be fine, but I've ran into him one time so far and that isn't enough to get an actual feel for him.

From the PPP I watch stream they are starting to see him and wright from the Red Sox combined about as much as niekro. I played a lot over the last two days and haven't seen either or niekro in a while honestly

Put up 2 runs in the first on 20 something pitches

Only wound up scoring one more run on him. That was all I needed though since Latos threw an 80 pitch shutout. Plenty of hard hit balls against Gamboa though, the knuckleball was not impossible to hit by any means. Pretty easy actually.
