I have played close to 230 games and the most I have with one player is like 21. I primarily use "X" to swing. I don't feel like I have success with square when I try to use power swing. Any help? Any suggestions?

Aim slightly under the ball. You want to get the pitch in the center of the PCI, but a bit above the middle horizon if that makes sense.

If you have trouble getting under pitches you can also try R2+up on right stick. I rarely if ever do this so I don't know if they took out this type of swing influence.

Also, don't worry about using square, it doesn't do much. You have plenty of power using the normal swing and you can also hit home runs with contact as well. I've hit several lately using contact swing.

I've also had issues with hitting home runs honestly. I'd say 97% of my swings are x and the most hr I have are with Schmidt with 15 in 80 or so games and Hanley ramirez with 14 in 110 games. I only use square when my thumpers are up and I'm down and need a big fly but it rarely works
