Adrian Gonzalez, best 1B to use in DD?!?

For me, at least, there are better options at 1B. With Adrian, you also have to deal with "the shift". Also, it takes 3 1/2 months for him to run to 2B on a double.

Personally, I love the shift. Hitting oppo in this game is not difficult at all. Hitting to that empty LF for doubles is unfair lol.

I gave up trying to hit with rizzo last night and stuck Clark in. I had used him before once or twice but never really gave him much time. Normally I start bagwell to keep my lineup balanced between lefties and righties but I started Clark in two games and he went 3-4 with 2 rbis in the first game and 2-5 with a 2 run he in the 2nd game. I may ride him a bit longer and see how he keeps going.

No love for Hosmer? I really like hitting with him and his fielding is awesome. I haven't had any luck hitting Clark, Votto or Edgar.

Hosmer just rakes for me.

All you guys need to have are Lefty throwing 1B's. It's practically automatic to pick people off when they take a 1 step lead if your 1B is a lefty catcher (Rizzo, A-Gon, Clark, Hosmer)

For me, at least, it used to be automatic till they put out one of the patches. Now, I can only pick guys off at 2B (with deceptive move). I'm only playing online head to head.

I still get them at 1B a lot. Is there a certain way to get them alot at 2nd? I've only done it once and it was just a completely random attempt.
