new update

i hear this new update is gonna ruin the game. new hitting engine or some ish. not as much opposite field hitting. some dude complained, he only likes to pull the ball.

ted williams is supposed to boosted though

i tried not to install, but it wont let into the online features without it. not sure what to do. i dont want to be a dead pull hitter. that's not how i roll. they are saying only 2 guys can hit opposite field now.

Nah none of that's true I played a DD game earlier after the update and there was 0 changes at all period , nothing that I could find was any different

Pitching was updated. Pitcher control is down overall. It's a little easier to hit now. I've noticed a difference in lower level pitchers. I used to be lights out with silver SPs even against all star teams. Now they seem to be getting more hits, even on very bad contact. I miss a lot more spots now too, even if I hit the line.

I know Ted Williams has been cryogenically frozen since he died in 2002. So if he gets a boosted update, then I'm in on cryogenics.

Idk what the devs are thinking, but their gameplay tweaks and updates since launch have ruined this game. It's a huge waste of time for a guy like me who only plays offline DD gsmes. You basically have to own gold and plat pitchers right now if you want any success on the mound. Everyone else has 0 control now. They tweeked on purpose to get you to buy their pitcher packs. It's BS. They did this a couple other times when they put out specific packs. They try to make you think your team is inefficient at areas that coincide with their card packs to get you to spend money for "upgrades". It's genius aND a load of crap at the same time.

Yea I am the same as you will only play extra innings or play v. CPU. And I am not having any problems with my pitcher's control at all. And I have a rotation of Archer, Alex Cobb, Patrick Corbin, RA Dickey, and Homer Bailey. In my bullpen I have 4 golds and the rest silvers. I have McGee, Chapman, Betances and David Robinson.

darn ps4 installed the update without me. they said we'd suffer for a month, then they'd take half the update out, then it would be 10 months before the whole update is removed. we gotta change this. i think they are being mean.

I did notice that it was way easier to hit the ball in my 3 games last night. Won all three, and I attribute it to the fact that I swung and missed on a good timed pitch down the middle less frequently. Didn't pop out as much. Didn't hit weak grounders two feet in front of the plate as much.

Maybe it was just a small sample size, or maybe I'm getting used to the new batting camera I'm using, but something did seem different.
