    Dad created player question

Fairly new to the whole DD experience. Happened upon the CREATE PLAYER and accidentally created a starting pitcher. Would much rather have an everyday player. Can I a) change the position, or b) delete him and start over.

No, I haven't put him on my team yet.

    Thanks.

He is a SP by default. When you decide where you want him, just add him to your roster at that position. If you want to change it, make sure you remove him from your roster and re-add him at the new position. Look at his player card and make sure his position is where you are playing him otherwise he will take a ratings hit for playing out of position.

When you train him feed with cards of the position you want him to play. It all works itself out

The only thing you would have to worry about with this is position player vs pitcher. Either way, just feed him all the players you don't neeed because any increase in any rating will benefit you.

Your right I fed mine all the left handed bats I could get my hands on and didn't feed pitchers at all. Then I realized there aren't many great left handed bats in the majors haha

I've fed my guys probably at least a thousand cards, mostly bronze and common with some silvers. I have almost everything mazes out at 99 rating.

The stats of the players are what make him better. For example, my contact against righties was bad, so I bought 15 Daniel Navas cheap by placing buy orders for one stub. Nava has an 84 contact against righties, so he got a lot better after eating all of them.
