The question I have is will they be exactly as they were in The Show 16 as they were for which ever year the card is representing (if there was a MLB The Show game for that year of course). For instance if I fire up MLBTS12 will Verlander have the same ratings as he does for his Prime Card?

they mentioned that all the overalls/etc are a work in progress, so i doubt there will be that many 99s.

but if those overalls is not what your trying to focus on here then i understand what you are doing here. but not really sure why put the overalls there.

prime Ian Kinsler is a 99 overall?? career .791 OPS people. Come on now. Helluva fantasy player in his prime (30-30) but shouldn't be rated any higher than 94.

Also, this got me dreaming of a day when dozens and dozens of random classic players are represented in The Show. As of now, you get similar iterations of the same players: Bryce, Rod Carew, Bagwell, Ted Williams, and too much Carlos Gonzalez lol

But imagine starting up a game and not knowing who the hell your opponent is going to have. His lineup pops onto the screen:

2. Jose Altuve 2B
3. Ed Delahanty LF
4. Cal Ripken Jr. SS
5. Bernie Williams CF
6. Mark Grace 1B
7. Bill Freehan C
8. Mike Lowell 3B

and then you see who is pitching. Jamie F'ing Moyer. You are about to get junked to death.
